We don’t just provide basic fire training courses. Our unique partnership with Southampton Airport Fire Service allows us to provide some of the most extensive fire safety training possible. We provide courses for firefighters from breathing apparatus training and confined spaces training, to helipad and low category airfield fire training. The highly trained staff combined with our fire training centre enables us to provide you with just about any fire training course you need.
All our professional courses are accredited by the relevant certifying body ensuring the quality of training, some of the courses we can offer you are:
Hot fire training
Carry out your mandatory training using our realistic pressurised fuel fire training simulator. Our dedicated team are able to provide you with a variety of scenario based real fire simulations covering all aspects of external fire- fighting – Personnel Safety, branch handling, complementary media and tactics & techniques.
Heliport
In accordance with Flight Operations Department Communication 24/2005 we have designed a specific course to deal with all aspects of the fire-fighting initial and refresher training as prescribed within this document.
The heliport training is aimed at anyone undertaking the role of a fire-fighter whilst helicopter operations are occurring.

Scenario based training
We are able to provide scenario based training which gives a realistic and achievable opportunity for skills to be practised, scenario based training is more meaningful and helps to reinforce the learning experience and enhance the awareness and confidence of the fire fighter at an operational incident.
Out of work focus
Hot fire training is for any aerodrome that wants to carry out this type of training using pressurised fuel fires, unlike LPG which most modern day rigs use. Goodwood & Shoreham aerodromes use us because they operate a duty crew system. Firefighter’s carry-out a whole range of other duties (refuelling, operations, etc) so they find it very hard to carry out any dedicated training sessions. They have found that by using us it gives them a chance to concentrate purely on firefighting, tactics & techniques.
